I hired Anthony Feigel to do artwork for a project. Like many of the stories here he took the money and did not do the work. He is posted on ifreelance and guru.com. He is an able artist but a poor businessman. He refused all contact with me.Posted 6 months ago

Posted 6 months agoReport - Anthony did not receive any payment at all for work that was not completed !
IN FACT, he was ahead of the payments, and Mr. Jason Fox has actually received MORE pages than he paid for (but he doesn’t mention that – maybe he should’ve figured that out before posting "took the money and did not do the work" on an online forum – wouldn’t that be slander?).
Anthony is my husband. He was THRILLED to be doing this job. He loves art and is an absolutely AWESOME artist and this project was something he’d wanted to do for a long time. A dream job, turned into a nightmare!
Every step of the way, he got great reviews, and “looks great”, “so excited”. The project was about finished - last group of art work was nearing completion, and he had gotten very ill for a about two weeks. Had to go to the ER, etc., it was very serious. So, there was a set-back in time – Mr. Fox was notified right away, and said no problem, no hurry. Then just freaked-out.
My husband worked full-time, outside of the home, and Mr. Fox knew this as well, so of course he had to make up time there as well, he has a family to feed. BUT, even though Mr. Fox said “take your time”, he began calling our home at all times of day and night, and I refused to answer.
Mr. Fox knew that I was home during the day with an infant here and my husband was not, and would call continually. Sometimes several times in a row, sometimes from different numbers with their area code, private, blocked numbers. He would wake me up, wake the baby up, kick me offline, interrupt my calls, and was making my life miserable, daily.
I wanted to change our number, but didn’t because it would have caused me even more problems. It was absolutely unbelievable. AND I told my husband that I did not want anymore work done for this man, and I didn’t want him calling our home anymore, and I wanted him to go away. (and I never interfere with my husband’s work).
Mr. Fox even tried to file a complaint on the e-bay account, that I had long before we were even married, just because my husband has art is on there (along with nic nacs, kids clothes, books, etc.) and we share it. He was harassing me continually and I did not like it one bit ! THAT was the unprofessional behavior here.
So, yes, the project remained unfinished. Mr. Fox’s voicemails were deleted OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Anthony wasn’t simply refusing contact as you would be led to believe.
My husband has pages of great feedback and comments that are excellent, from many different people, you can see for yourself.
I would advise to NEVER accept work from this man. It is not worth it! I have never seen anything like it. This project would’ve been completed, and the artwork great. It was insane. And I offer NO apologies!
I would not have even bothered to respond here, but it needed clarification.
