Sent to a friend[498] Nationstar Mortgage Texas Sucks -
Nationstar MortgageNationstar Mortgage, Texas.
In February of 2004 we purchased our home from my parents through
Nationstar Mortgage. Our loan officer, Joseph Conway, advised us that
due to our credit history we could only get an ARM. He also advised us
that at no given time could the rate exceed more than 1% in a year. In
February of 2005 we needed to refinance for some home repairs and again
were told that we needed to have an ARM, but was advised again from
Joseph Conway that the rate could only go up so much. In the past year,
we have had some financial struggles. My husband is in the construction
trade and with the slumping economy we have fallen behind with our
mortgage amongst other bills. We have made several payment arrangements
with Nationstar, but it has become inevitable that we are losing our
house. They want payments of over a payment and a half and it has made
it so that some weeks we can not afford oil we are putting it in with
gas cans just to get by. I have now been advised by one person that our
mortgage rate is going adjustable as of July 1st and our payment is
going up by over $400.00 more a month and from 7% to 10.55%. Another
has told me that the rate will not adjust until August 1st.
I contacted Nationstar's Fannie Mae refinance department in hopes that
we could refinance to keep our house. After a few days I received a
LETTER not even a phone call from them telling me that nothing could be
done. I was contacted about a week later from Ebony, who said that she
worked in the refinance department and thought that she could help us.
I explained to her that we had already been turned down not even a week
prior. She told me that she was from another department and that they
could do more from us. But once again, they needed to pull our credit.
Ebony and I spoke for a matter of days getting our documents that were
needed. Once again, I received a VOICEMAIL that we could not be helped.
I was told that my husbands score was 7 points away from being
refinanced. I have repeatedly told Nationstars' representatives that if
we could not refinance that we would indeed be getting foreclosed on
that we cannot make payments and a half. I received a phone call from
David in loss prevention last week. We talked and he told me that I
needed to contact a church or the Salvation army for money to make my
mortgage payment. At that time I told him what was the point of taking
money from charity when we know that come July 1st we cannot afford our
house anymore. David has been extremely, extremely rude. I have
contacted Nationstar several times advising them NOT to contact me at
work. I work 2 days at a Hospital and I cannot accept personal phone
calls. Friday, June 22, 2007, I was registering a patient when the
phone rang. The other registrar was with a patient and I answered the
phone. It was David. I told him that I could not talk at that time
that I was with a patient. He rudely told me that it didn't matter that
this was regarding my house. I told him again, I was with a patient, it
got to the point that I had to hang up on him. I then called my husband
and asked him to call David back. My husband has left 2 messages on
Davids' voice mail and he will not contact my husband, but they will
continue to harass me. At this point I have stopped contacting them and
returning their phone calls, it is inevitable that they are unwilling to
help me and would rather foreclose on my house than to work something
other than payment arrangements that we cannot afford. Our loan is set
to go to their lawyers on July 13th and they would rather foreclose than
keep a family in their home.
Thanks
