I worked for Easco for over 2 years starting as a salesperson and leaving as a sales manager. My experience at this company WAS great and I really liked my job. You will even see my previous ripoff report rebuttals to anyone who bad mouthed this company. I was very loyal to the owner, Jerry Edmonds, and worked hard to do my job well. My abrupt end with this company left me thinking of how my loyalty was disvalued. I was fired for being late 4 times and calling out once due to domestic issues in my home. But only after I had turned in my complete training manual for the company. I wasn't assigned this project, I decided to create a training manual for the company because I saw the need for operational improvement. Everything from sales tactics to computer system training compiled in word documents and powerpoint presentations. After I turned it in, I was fired. And my hard work is being used to train future employees. Jerry told everyone I left because he was giving me a paycut. I was probably the highest paid person there also. But I would have gladly taken a pay cut because I was very loyal and loved my job. I was extremely disappointed and felt so used. All my talent had been handed over to this company when it never valued me in the first place. This company has had a wide array of operational and personnel issues. Mainly because of Jerry himself. He has been described as 'bipolar' because he basically yells at employees. I saw him bring an employee to tears as he yelled at her. So I believe that guy who took Jerry to the Dept. of Labor is truthful, because people in Easco confirmed that they falsely blamed that guy for stealing deposits to discredit his claim. He has cut commissions to employees of more than 50% because 'they are making too much.' A person used to be able to make $700-$800/m but now will be lucky to make $400. I have seen many employees get ripped off by this man when they did so well. The operational issues remain but at least my training manual might help him out a bit. :-) This company is okay to work for, but not much is to be expected. There are too many operational challenges. Customer service is good but only because of the employees. Jerry himself has had more complaints than any employee. Not because he is the owner, because he is not a people person. Frankly, it is better to just go somewhere else because of the ops issues which make processing time 200% longer than it should be. Fortunately, during this tough economic time, I have moved on to better employement. I just wanted my voice to be heard on how I got ripped off for being loyal and defending this company in the past. Basically, what goes around, comes around and it will come around hard to Easco Wireless. Thank you.
