Sent to a friend[2162] Busysellmart.com - Fraud selling Cell phone
Thought I had bought a cell phone from this James guy so I paid 300.00 though Yahoo checkout. 8 minutes later, got an email from James Macbent saying the credit card merchant is down that I would have to Western Union him the money. Not only no! But "heck" no. But as a test, I asked him where he was shipping the item from and he said the UK, so I said, "OK" He provided me with a London Western Union address which I sent exactly 1.00 as a test. Sure enough, I tracked it to Nigeria where someone had indeeed picked it up. Smelling a scam, I emailed Macbent (James) to cancel the order. The next day, three attempt to post $1,000.00 through Yahoo were made on my credit card. Yep, the one old James said was down. Of coarse the charges were denied and the account closed. I thought Yahoo would be a little more diligent to protect us from websites they allow to post. Buysellmart is a SCAM. FRAUD ALERT!Posted 2 months ago

- Contact Yahoo since yahoo is his merchant. File a complaint with them, then file a complaint with your State's Attorney General. As well as file a complaint with interpol and the fbi. That should fix him right up for years to come! - I found this complaint simply by looking up busysellmart.com just a second ago on google. So, I think his online scam is probably coming to an end.

Posted 2 months agoReport - I tried contacting this James guy and I was drilling. He said he is based in GA, US and asked him for the address guess what.

I will use this in an ammendment to my fraud report with my credit card.
Posted 2 months agoReport - Found out that James Macbent or who ever he is used the Georgia address to get a US pass so that Yahoo! would allow him to set up a website. As it turns out overseas merchants are suppose to have some domestic accountability. So that's how it's done. A Nigerian or Kenyan or European, Russian who ever can set up a US address or get a relative to help so they can set up a merchant site and even if they get a few people conned, they just close up, hard to sue overseas, and reopen with credentials by acquiring new identities. Not too hard to do. What puzzles me, is why does Yahoo! block attempts to post a merchant review on this site?

Posted 2 months agoReport - Today, Sept. 6th, got an email from James Macbent with a lot of forward's requesting Western Union because he has cancelled my order. With all the bad press, Wikio and Yahoo shopping has removed him from their tags in searches, is this guy for real? He's not giving up.
Maybe with the complaints including a couple of Nevada, California, and Atlanta Attorney General complaints, maybe he's compiling enough money to get out of town.
By the way, the email he sent is grammatically incorrect ful of misspellings. Could be Russian, Cuban, or Nigerian.

Posted 2 months agoReport - Yahoo! took their website off Wikio and the Yahoo! shopping network, however, several of the customers that were scammed by James Macbent and busysellmart.com and actually used Yahoo! checkout, are still trying to get pending and posted credit card charges reversed.
Posted 2 months agoReport - i just receive an email from james macbent with address where to send the money. the name is Linora Barrett and the address is 23 wicklite rd qo,line54,Atlanta,GA 30306.I think all is a scheme ,if you look at the price for cell phones it can be nokika n95 more expensive than nokia n96 and have see lg kc910 for sale and this phone i read will be release on a market in october.

Posted 2 months agoReport - I pray you did not use the Yahoo e-commerce checkout. If you did, Check your credit card statement today. You may be having to file fraud as well including getting your card transfered over with a new number.
Posted 2 months agoReport - i requested the price of 3 PS3 systems. i knew he was a scammer as it is so obvious that he has items listed which havent even been released to market yet and the price is too good to be true. Anyways he replied back and said he does have 3 and they are sim free, unlocked brand new in sealed boxes. Ummm i think he thought the PS3 is a cell phone or something, what an idiot.
I posted a complaint to yahoo, but yeah he can just reopen with another USA address of some unsuspecting person.
He is also supplying data feeds for his products on Google Base product search, but i cant find out how to contact Google Base about this.
Google Base used to be called Froogle is an online product listing feed. Stores upload product feeds and then they get listed in Google which is probably where you all found him.
If we can complain to Google Base about this, they will cut his feed, ban his account and then his products will never rank on the search engines and he will have to go to forums and post rediculous spam emails with too good to be true prices.

Ok the only way to stop this jerk from taking money or to deter him at least from taking peoples money is to email Google Base. I have emailed them with his url and all these rip off report links too for proof.
they should take his product data feed offline so his store gets buried in the mounds of cell phone stores who dont use google base.
Basically it will be lost. Any website you see in google that has a big price font beside a product and has store seller rating with stars, this is google base and you should report them to google base.
If yahoo wont do anything, Google will!
