Sent to a friend my name is michelle. I have worked for burger king in sparta nj almost 2 years. W have had different managers though the most recent one was nancy. my last day of work was july 25, 2008. I was scheduled to work the following week. I had important matters to take care of so i was out monday tuesday and wednesday. I have documents for those days. Wednesday night a co-worker told me nancy was firing me. I called nancy thursday morning and asked her if this was true, Nancy told me because my husband was not a well man , she fired me nancy said i would have to be out once in awhile because of my husbands health so she fired me.[my husband has hep-c and heart and other health problems and cant work anymore]. I offered to come in and show nancy the manager my documents she said she didnt care.One of the documents were for taking my handicapped son to the doctors[my son was born handicapped with multiply disabilities ] Nancy the manager told me she didnt care..that i was fired. Burgerkings income was the only income i had, it wasnt much though paid my bills and fed my children. My children mean the world to me and i live for them. I went to programs and collect unemployment so my children are very well taken care of. I have a good backround and try to do the best by every one.
