Sent to a friend[13694] hotmoviesale.com - unauthorized credit card charges
I purchased a discount DVD from Hotmoviesale.com and they started charging my account a monthly membership fee for Bestbrandvalues.com that I never signed up for or even dealt with. I didn't notice that it went on for 5 months. I was able to get 3 of the months back at this point but only with over 25 phone calls and 10 emails and other calls to other authorities. I am in the process of reporting them to the BBB in Boca Raton FL and the Commissoner of Consumer Affairs. I have found many other websites with hundreds of complaints about this online company and I am wondering how they are still in business and are able to keep stealing from their unsuspecting customers. My goal is to get them shut down and I have time. Look at this URL and see an example of all the complaints and people being ripped off.Posted 1 month ago

- This just happened to me also. First they charged $1.00 to credit card and then sent an email saying I would be charge $19.95 A MONTH for being a member and that I agreed to that!!! The phone number listed in the email to cancel membership always was busy. After 20 phone calls they agreed to cancel my membership and told me that today they had charged my account $9.95 plus the $1.00. I told them I could have purchased the DVD off of Ebay or Amazon for that price and I would be contacting my credit card company and told the guy on the phone he worked for a crooked company who scammed me.
