Sent to a friend[13382] Dollar Rent A Car - Unwanted Insurance Coverage
We traveled to Arizona in November. I was very clear to the service clerk we do not want any insurance coverage, but somehow they manage to slip in the contract an unwanted insurance coverage.You do not get a copy of the document until after you signed it (you don't see the screen on what they put in your contract) then they will let you sign in a little pin pad device. After that it's all over.
Consumer out there.... please be very wary of this tactic to make you pay for more than you have to. DO NOT SIGN until the print you a copy that you can review.
I tried disputing the insurance portion of the charge but to now avail. All I could do is to prevent future customer from being ripped off by this tactic.
